Tis’ the season to share the love and your creativity by designing your own personalize tin can #JoyInACan with Krispy Kreme. It is definitely a creative and fun activity for the season knowing that at the end of the day its all about giving back and spreading the love.
Krispy Kreme has always been known to celebrate the value of sharing, creativity, and memorable experiences. This season, Krispy Kreme continues this time-honored tradition by not only serving tasty goodies that represent the true essence of the holidays but inspiring people to share and be creative as well.
In line with this, Krispy Kreme is holding Crafty Christmas, a special activity that partners with renowned local contemporary artists to inspire customers to let out their inner artists for a good cause.
On December 12, from 11 am to 8 pm, Krispy Kreme transforms their flagship store in BGC High Street into an artist’s Christmas workshop as patrons are invited to personalize their own Krispy Kreme tin cans, in the hope that participants will use this opportunity to create a unique tin can that features their take on the spirit of the holidays.
All the patrons need to do is purchase their tin cans from the counter, after which they will be provided a special assortment of art materials that they may use to bring their designs to life.
Its not only the fun behind creating a crafty box but you know you’ll be able to help in the construction of an art classroom. A lucky school that gets to be chosen will be able to hone the art talents of their students. Krispy kreme gives value to the love of arts.
To inspire the participants, popular artist Kerby Rosanes (IG @kerbyrosanes) will be doodling on a giant Krispy Kreme tin can live! In order to further motivate the customers-turned-artists, specially decorated tin cans that embody the Yuletides made by famed artists Leeroy New and Olivia D’Aboville will be exhibited on-site.
Also present to kickstart the activity and encourage artistry are Sharon T. Fuentebella, Chairman of Max’s Group Inc. (MGI), who will provide a brief background of the event; Jim T. Fuentebella, MGI Director, who will share the importance and impact that the arts have; and Ariane Martinez-Valinton, Senior Marketing Manager of Krispy Kreme, who will explain the mechanics of Crafty Christmas.
At the end of the day, the creator of the best decorated tin can will be awarded with a year’s supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Aside from being a fun and interactive experience, the tin cans can perfectly hold six Krispy Kreme doughnuts making them the ideal gift that sends a sweet message to the Santas in our lives.
Best of all, the proceeds of the Krispy Kreme tin cans will go to the creation of an art room at Catmon Integrated School in Malabon. This aims to support the children’s creativity and to give them a venue in which to express their imaginations through art.
Truly, Krispy Kreme’s Crafty Christmas not only allows participants to share #JoyInACan, it also lets them give their loved ones and the students of the chosen school, a gift that keeps on giving.
