Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2015 is happening on June 12-14, 2015 at the SM Aura Premier, Taguig City.

“Power Mac Center is thrilled to take mobile fashion to the next level with our collaboration with Case-Mate, a brand that embodies creative genius in all its accessories,” said Power Mac Center Marketing Director Joey Alvarez.

Founded in 2006 with the desire to create accessories ingrained with individuality, purpose, quality, and style, Case-Mate continues to merge fashion and technology to craft cases for gadget owners who desire something extraordinary like model, television host and blogger Mari Jasmine.

“Social media is a huge part of my job so I’m always using my phone. It’s always with me wherever I go. It’s nice to have a product that serves its purpose by protecting my phone but also reflects my style and personality,” she said.

The half-Japanese, half-English beauty revealed that Case-Mate caught her eye because of phone cases that boast impressive designs and color palette.

“Not only are the cases visually appealing but they’re also very sturdy,” said Mari. “I worry less about dropping my phone because I feel the case really protects my phone.”

The Power Mac Center brand ambassador for Case-Mate particularly fancies the Brilliance phone case available in Champagne and Diamond. “I find the colors so elegant and the attention to detail is evident,” noted Mari.

During the Philippine Fashion Week event, Case-Mate will accompany runway worthy looks stylishly curated by fashion arbiter Boyet Dysangco. Inspired by his own mother to pursue a career in fashion design, Boyet has been presenting at the annual event since 2012 his collections that translate his fashion philosophy that “less is more.”

Boyet’s Holiday 2015 collection, titled “La Pelle,” portrays women who are modern but edgy, sexy yet sophisticated. He uses geometric designs and patterns to define the female figure, combining sheer materials with different types of fabric to show a side that’s sensual, classy and elegant all at the same time.

For Boyet, Case-Mate reflects his personality and will be a suitable match to his new collection. “Mobile phone cases should not be boring. Just like any dress or outfit, it should also show personality while keeping its purpose. Case-Mate is an accessory like no other,” he added.

Enhance your mobile gadgets with premium stylish cases from Case-Mate available at all Power Mac Center locations nationwide. For more information, log on to www.powermaccenter.com or visit a Power Mac Center store near you.

Power Mac Center x Philippine Fashion Week 2015

Philippine-Fashionweek

Since 2010  I have been an attendee of Philippine Fashion Week, this year its a different set up at the Aura Atrium level 1 of SM Aura Premier. Now the general public get to see first hand this season of designers can offer. But well you have to register or get invited to be up-close. The event doesn’t provide a number of seats for everybody like before, so you have to really have to come early and get good seats or you end up standing up or hang at the Powermac media center like we did on the second day ( I came from another event that day so we came a bit late, but the people from power mac were really friend and accommodating, they offered us seats and snacks )

This year’s Philippine Fashion Week is a  take is on Technology and Style. Philippine Fashion week 2015 partners with Power Mac Center. Perfect timing for Independence day since the event started on June 12. It all about Showcasing Filipino designers and their creations on the runway.

Day 1  JUNE 12 – Beats by Dr. Dre, CaseMate, Moshi and HappyPlugs

Day 2 JUNE 13 – Gosh, HappyPlugs and KnomoLondon

Most of my fave collections were on the first day. On the second day I also had my favorites as well. So far, this year was my favorite season for Philippine Fashion week because the designs were unique and creatively done. I had an eye on minimalist designs,  easy to wear and twist on the Filipino traditional wear. The designers did a good job in creating proudly Pinoy masterpieces. Phfw pulled it off once again, I would like to personally thank Power Mac Canter for the invite and kind accommodation during the 2 days of the event. Check out the photos I took and the ones I liked.
