Smart Araneta Coliseum
I am glad to be able to take part of the reigning Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo- Wurtzbach, grand home coming at the Araneta Colliseum (Finally she was able to have her victory walk!). Thanks to Creams silk!Ate Karen who is a fellow blogger too tagged me along, and I was able to witness this unforgettable event, I did not really expect it- I was just told on the day itself after attending an event from Trinoma. Just seeing Pia Wurtzbach upclose, I am already fine with it.
While watching the last Miss Universe pageant last Dec. 21, 2015, I really rooted for her and in my mind I know she will win. She has that spunk and confidence in answering those challenging questions. How she carried herself, you could feel that really wanted the crown and she came in prepared. And some miracle after Steve Harvey admitted his mistake by announcing the wrong winner, Pia actually won! Finally after 42 years of waiting.
Creamsilk represents the modern Filipina, transforming and excelling not only locally but also in the international scene.
Pia will continue to inspire more Binibinis to never give up on their dream, just chase your passion and mostly have consistent faith with God. As upon seeing her journey things really do happen for a reason and it all makes sense now for her.
To Pia, You are the epitomy of a world class Filipina and a warrior of not giving up on your dreams, I felt it when you said all the “hardwork & rejections”, that you really had a purpose.You nailed it! tackling every question thrown at you at the tell all with Boy Abunda – which you weren’t informed (Admired your brilliance and wittiness) , and after 42 years, thank you for bringing home the crown. I would like to be like you, If I met the height and weight limit for Bb.
