A STAR STUDDED 3-DAY FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION AT UP TOWN CENTER
Good food brings foodie like I am together, you get to appreciate our local produce and meet the smart minds who’ve whipped out a foodventure business since millennials and young-at-heart go for food. I’ve attended Open kitchen way before they invited me as a blogger. A lot of food options and yes, you’ll meet a lot of celebrities who are entrepreneurs.
I was able to attend the second leg of the 3-day celebration, met Janice De Belen and her family of entrepreneurs also (Super Janice). Got a glimpse of Gretchen Ho who came to the event. Tried out local an organic produce from different stalls- all fresh and yummy like @thecashewmilkco.
My bestfriend and I who accompanied me to this event, we love to tried out the drinks to beat up the weather. @LemonatorPH, sells thirst quenching lemonade for P60 (we went for the classic). We plan to try their Lemonade with yakult next time- which is their best seller. Into those drinks topped with lots of overflowing sweet goodness, we tried @TheCraftyCreameryPH who have exquisite sweet palette in creating Instagram worthy floats.
It’s not all food, there was @gramafilipinas known for their bamboo made shades and @thegreenhouseprojectph lovely green decos to fill your home -all about supporting the environment.
On a weekend on this Father’s month of June, Project 101 team in cooperation with UP Town Center has created this special three-day eventfor the entire family. Dubbed as “DADDY’S DAY OUT: A FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION”, this open kitchen bazaar will happen on June 17 to 19 (Friday to Sunday) at the UP Town Center in Katipunan, Quezon City.
Experience some star sightings and free food tastings and product samplings from celebrepeneuslike Janice de Belen, Gelli de Belen, Luigi Muhlach, Jericho Rosales (TalasManileno Barber Shop), Dina Bonnevie (La Bon Vie) , LinoCayetano (Luna Coffee), Ara Mina (Ara’s Secret) , JC de Vera (The Burgery), Brian Corella (Maverick Pomade) and Maricar Reyes-Poon (Choco Liquor) who will be present to promote their own businesses at the bazaar.
Project 101’s Open Kitchen has been a series of successful bazaars last year with heavy foot traffic, kicking off with its first installment dubbed as “Open Kitchen: The Best Kept Recipes of The Stars” which started in Ayala Mall’s UP Town Center Amphitheater in June 2015. They again mounted the event in September 2015 in Trinomaand with the last of the series for the year last December 2015 again in UP Town Center.
Thesepast eventswere participated in also by Vice Ganda, Judy Ann Santos, Richard Yap, Angeline Quinto, AizaSeguerra and a lot more. These featured the celebrities’ various food businesses and personal recipes.
For its first installment this 2016, Open Kitchen gives tribute to the greatest man on earth – our dads. The bazaar boasts not only of heavenly gastronomic experiences for dad but will also showcase stuff for dad like sports apparel, gear and accessories, hobby corners, novelties, tools and everything else that dad would be interested in . It will also be a haven for wives, partners, relatives, friends and kids as the bazaar also features an A-Z showcase of women and kids apparel, shoes, bags , home furnishings , toys, pets and pet needs and many more.
