Benefit Cosmetics: Roller Lash

image

Benefit  Philippines, launched their latest innovation, the Roller Lash. They’ve had a contest on Instagram, where you and your bestie gets to win a roller lash, the mechanics where simple just had to repost a certain photo (You and your bestie). Then after a few days, I just saw on mynotifications on instagram, that Benefit tag us a photo. Then in God’s grace,
we won :)

I was actually intrigued with the advertisements for the
product, it says NO NEED FOR AN EYELASH CURLER. I’ve tried different brands of
Mascaras but this is genius.  Why?

1.
It is LIGHT- other mascara brands I tried where
heavy  and sometimes the strong
scent gives me a headache. Thats why I love this <3

2.
It last for long hours – 12 hours according to
the label

3.
It really CURLS and LIFTS right away – NO NEED FOR
CURLER. The beauty consultant at benefit explained that the “wiper”, the part
of the mascara is the one responsible for this awesome feature.

4.
Makes your eyes look wide open

image

5.
You’ll love the packaging and you can see the information you need to know.

image

6.
It is handy, you can bring it anywhere.

So here is my BEFORE AND AFTER :)

image

Muriel (The bestie) and I, really love makeup
we were so stoked on finally getting our hands on the roller lash. When we
tried it together, we really loved it. It is worth P1300 actually, but it is
worth the investment, its all you ever wanted in a mascara.

I would like to correct what I’ve wrote before, that it was WATERPROOF, When I splashed my face with water, YES, it was still intact. That was the truth. Then apparently, Someone I know who’ve tried it, says it wasn’t waterproof, It got scattered when they sweated. But I still think it is still a good product.

You better grab yours, it is so far their best
seller yet . You can follow Benefit Philippines on their INSTAGRAM page
@benefitbeautyph. Their store locations at Greenbelt 5, Rustans, Makati,
Rustans Shangrila, Mall of Asia, Trinoma, ATC and BGC Central Square.

The event started at 8pm,  It was indeed a full house, There were a lot
of people so as expected  the place was a
bit crowded. The crowd was wild and stoked for the event. Upon entering
everyone was glammed up and dressed to party .All was ready to party just to

Since we came in late, It was jam-packed
and It was difficult to find a place to chill, drink and socialize. My friend
and I found a place to chill at the lobby. People at the reception were very warming
and it is understandable  that the place
is definitely crowded.  Drinks were
served, free flowing drinks from the bar. People who attended the event had a good time and enjoyed,
I could hear people talking outside that they enjoyed and it was the best night
they had. Here are some testimonials from the attendees:

“I have been attending Verdict
for three years now and it never disappoints! Free flowing drinks, great
company, and the fantastic sounds from all those DJs make for one hell of a
night. Not only do you get to enjoy yourself, you also get to donate for
various charity events of the UP PGH. Who wouldn’t go all in with that kind of
deal, right? ”- Marian Ysaac, 3rd year medical
student, UP College of Medicine

"Had a blast! DJs were great.
Looking forward sa next Verdict.“ – Mark Diasanta, 4th year Pre-Med
Student, UP Los Banos

“The place was jam-packed with
people who weren’t afraid to let loose and have fun! Verdict was
victorious!” -Pia Alfonso, 4th year pre-med student, UP Manila

MAD WORLD: “Unravelling the Creative Genius”

One of PJMA’s (Philippine Junior Marketing Association) biggestevent this year is #MADWORLD2015 having about 6500+ attendees. Bringing
Filipino Student Marketeers together in one place , coming from different state
universities and colleges here in the Philippines. (Kudos to the students from the North, Visayas and Mindanao)

It was to my surprise as I arrived at MOA-SMX, the massive
line at the entrance at 10am.  I
understand how difficult it was for the organizers and the security to handle
that much number. It may have taken time to accommodate everyone to their
designated places, but it was worth the wait.

image

Being accommodated on my high heels by one of the
organizers/members (Thanks Ralph Gonzales, @ralphgon) and meeting Karol Chee
(@missykarol), Director for Marketing at Philippine Junior Marketing Association, I
would like to say Congratulations!, for pulling of a successful event, Not only
to them but the rest of the officers, members and even volunteers. Thank you
also for the warm welcome.

image

I came representing WazzupPilipinas (Thanks to Sir Ross Del
Rosario @pinoytekkie) who is one of the media partners of the event, and to
share, I was hoping to see Kim Kaizen Lo of UST (Big fan <3), unfortunately I didn’t see him. According to a
friend, When I left around 3 pm, he came. – Hindi
Tadhana.

I’ve always been intrigue with the “Marketing side”, coming
from a different profession, this is an opportunity for me to learn and explore – most importantly. Maybe I could apply
what I learn, as a part time blogger.

The speakers, were very motivating and the topics they
tackle are very interesting, there was never a dull moment- Presentation pa lang, already grabbed my
attention.
Wished I finished the event but had other blogger commitments
that fell on the same day.

image

Opening performance by Rico Blanco, was insane, everybody
was up their seats and wanted to get a better view of him upclose. The event
was hosted by the lady wearing red, Sports enthusiast, Volleyball player and
host, Gretchen Ho. Moderator of the event, the respected Tony Sarmiento.

image

Opening remarks, from Philippine Marketing Association’s
President, Mr. Henry Tenedero and  I’ve
listed down Inspirational quotes to remember coming from him.

“Marketing
is life, life is marketing”

“The Papal
effect: Think Well, Feel Well and Do Well”

“We should not only be Hi- tech but Hi -Touch”

image

First speaker, was Miss Leigh Reyes (@leighpod/ @loweph) ,
President and Chief Officer of  LOWE
Philippines. Her topic is about “The Art
and Innovation Perspective”
. I was amaze how artistic and creative she is,
She presented some of her works and her travels. She said, you should get
inspiration from the tools you use.  She
introduced the term “FLEARN” means Learning from failing.

image

Second speaker, Mr. Lawin Bulatao, Executive Arena Director,
Arena Media. His topic is about the “Art
of Crafting”,
Defining that Crafting, is the act of making and producing
with ingenuity, care and skill. Crafting is the art of making ingredients, so
obey your inspiration. Therefore Crafting has a great impact to advertising.
