I question those who can actually watch a horror series or film. How do you do that? For me I have to make sure I watch it on the morning and I’m not alone in the house. Privilege watching at home you skip those parts you feel something is gonna appear and come out of no where.

Whether you’re a fan of the spooky tales from Japan or the intense storylines from the US, you will get to enjoy the best of both worlds because Thrill, Asia’s only regional horror, thriller and suspense movie channel, will give you a new Japanese horror show that will premiere on July 27!

From executive producer, Darren Lyn Bousman, who also directed Saw II, III and IV comes Crow’s Blood, a thrilling story about a transfer student named Togawa Maki played by Sakura Miyawaki of the music group AKB 48.

Strange things start to happen when Maki arrives at an all-girl’s high school. Upon arriving, other kids seem distant and hesitant to become friends with her.  Although one girl named Kaoru Isozaki (played by Mayu Watanabe from AKB 48) opens the doors of her friendship to Maki.  As Maki grows close to Kaoru, she becomes weirdly obsessed with her.

Little do people know that Maki isn’t just your typical average student, she is a reanimated corpse brought back to life. Her father tried using an untested regeneration virus on her in an attempt to bring her back to life. Will she fit in with the kids of today’s society? That’s for you to find out!

Feel your spine tingle and watch human beings attempt to play God in this modern day series of science and technology. Get ready to hide under your blankets as you journey inside the mind of Maki and follow her day to day in this series full of blood, love and mystery in the modern Japanese society.
