Hello first blog entry for 2019, Each of us have those so called “resolutions” at the start of the new year. Honestly, I never completed a resolution for an entire year haha that’s why It’s been a tradition of mine to make SMART GOALS – specific, measurable, attainable, realistic & time bound (sounds familiar?). What I do, I write my goals at the start of the new year then read them as the year ends. Able to see what things I have done personally for myself.
I write everything down the traditional way, it keeps me sane having a planner. I personally love the bullet type. It’s just gives you more creativity – It’s a personality thing.
For a year, I’ve been a Bella correspondent and it has been a fulfilling experience. That’s why a lot of people participate in their events because it is meaningful and brings enlightenment despite the negativity sometimes the world throws at you.
It’s January and I personally feel that 2019 is a year of real game changer. With that Bellas! I have here a review of what planners/ journals & supplies would help you get through your 2019 like Marie Kondo but in journaling.
The Bella at Heart : “2019 BDJ Power Planner”

The iconic Bella face is familiar to everyone, The BDJ Planner for 2019 is filled with a lot of personal development activities such as GOALS AND CHECKLIST suggested that you do this 2019, getting to know yourself even more and having a good attitude this year. It shows the history, how to be part of the community at the intro. Monthly tools, weekly features and special pages. What amazes me it has a menstrual tracker too. It has this page where you have to write your goals and reflecting them on like why you haven’t done it before or why you should do it
As you approach each month, there is a theme appropriate for each month and an activity, then next you flip through a 2-page small compress calendar but with blank boxes. The boxes are kinda small for me since I have big pencraft so just make a brief schedule and reminders. For the weekly, per day gets like a to do list type so you get to write specifics per day – longer and parallel.
The planner comes with a magnetic bookmark which makes it a lot easier to flip to your current page anytime. This planner isn’t complete with the coupon booklet that you can avail from BDJ affiliated partners.

The Wanderlust : “Navi Journal” P598

If you’re the type that loves to travel and who into very neutrals colors too, I think this is for you. The first pages of the journals gives you your own to do list prior to travel (pre-trip checklist), the things to pack- like documents, clothing etc.. and places to see in 2019. All very helpful for a frequent traveler.
The blank calendar boxes are in one section together with the other months, here you have more space to write and I love how they incorporated the map design with coordinates. You’ll see a lot of brown shades and texts.
Every month features festivals from different countries and explaining the tradition as well. As you flip you get to the per week and in each day you get to write in a horizontal box and the opposite page a blank page that you can write notes and reminders.
The Navi journal helps you visualize your travel goals and carefully map out your next adventure with ease. It comes also with a booklet of discount coupons from BDJ affiliations.
The Achiever: “Everything is Possible”

I’ve run through both green and white planners compared to the other journals these have a quite more activities than the rest and more quotes dedicated. You get to create your 2019 vison board too. For every month you get the calendar with blank boxes but these are more compress so write small and legibly. The boxes are quite thinner. For the per week, each day you get to write a checklist in a bullet type so here you get to write more. Every month you also get to track your reward. This is for the goal oriented type who wants to stay focus and have a guide but in a fun and exciting way.

The Yogi: “Focus Journal” P498

This is a journal that will give you the essence of clarity, with the activities will help you organize your thoughts. It has also a lot of power words like with the “Everything is Possible”, they are quite similar but this is more calming in terms of the activities. It also comes with special activity pages such as Monthly Check-up and Year-End Reflections so you can mindfully evaluate accomplishments and learnings, and to maintain focus for the course of the year and the next. The cover itself very minimalist and simple.
Monthly Dividers -Power words and suggested activities help you handle your thoughts with ease.
Monthly Calendar and Weekly Layout -Have enough space for planning out your whole year
Special Pages – Activity pages to help you mindfully evaluate accomplishments and learnings
For the Minimalist : “Essentials Planner” P380

The minimalist cover planner comes in 2 designs, one in plain black (“classic”) and another linear lines creating a pattern embossed in gold foil stamping (“pattern”) – the more stylish and sleek one. This also gives you more creative freedom too because it’s a bullet type. You get to draw and map out your journaling to your liking. The blank calendar boxes are quite bigger to write and it gives you an overview to see if you want to have a busy or productive month. So far my favorite because it’s not too bulky to Carry around and thickness is just about right. The price is good and if you want to give someone a classy minimalist journal without breaking the bank, this is perf.
For the Multi tasker: “The BDJ Petite Planner”

The BDJ Petit Planner comes in two styles—Purple and Pastel—both with zippered plastic covers that can be an instant pocket or a secondary wallet for your cards, bills, and receipts. This is your go-to planner, if you need to write notes and reminders instant because it is available in your bag ands you can bring it anywhere. In writing notes you have to either write brief or small because doesn’t have a lot of space.
