Lately I’ve decided to get back into working out after a month of abstaining (from working out). It’s hard but then its 2017, one of my goals for this year is to get back to shape in 3 months – to go to the gym atleast 4 times in a week & LISTEN.

I never shared any fitness tips on my blog for the fact, I haven’t achieved my body goal since I started gaining weight after my board exam – It’s been 2 years (Ang sarap kaya kumain!) and like no progress at all. My weight was a YO-YO but for those girls who are struggling the same I hear you.

Since I’ve devoted myself into blogging to skincare why hasn’t there been a blogpost of post workout care. So here are my personal faves and for years it has been a routine that I have improve as the years go by.

After working out, Ofcourse you take a shower preferably a little bit cool (to cool down the body) but as years passed I stopped taking a shower right after working out right away because I start developing veins on my feet. So now I prefer to shower at home after few hours. Only on occasions, I take a shower right after like I have an event or work right after.

After taking a shower, I like spending time in the gym’s steam room with my favorite hair mask. Been using hair mask for years and I atleast do it once or twice a week to make my hair smooth and healthy (That’s why I manage to have straight hair in good condition) – its more practical compared to a hair spa. You can buy a small tub in the local drug store and grocery.

Hortaleza Professional Self warming hair mask PHP 34.00 , comes in a sachet and it does speak for itself its does go warm as you apply it from scalp to roots. The texture is like scrub-like and it smells good. Well its like buying a salon quality product at an affordable price. My hair is so smooth and it is relaxing. It didn’t mention any instruction on the pack on how long should it be leave on but usually FOR ME about 5-15 minutes while I am in the steam room and 5 minutes at home (in the shower). You apply hair mask after shampoo & conditioner.

Another regimen I do in the steam room, is using a body scrub why? to remove all the LIBAG and to exfoliate my body’s skin.

Leave on 3-5 minutes 4.Rinse thoroughly 5. Follow Body Recipe Hand & Body Lotion 6. For best results, use 2-3 times a week.

A personal post workout care that I apply before going to sleep – LEGS & ARMS FIRMING LOTION, which I learn from my mother since she uses CLARINS ( I wasn’t able to recall the full name of the product but it has like anti cellulite properties), which is quite expensive but I was able to find another alternative and I can buy from a reasonable price since I don’t earn that much CATHY DOLL CHILLI BOMB PHP 349.00 It helps simulate the fat-burning system and comes with 3 firming treatment beads (L-carnitine, cucumber and chili extract). I do this routine for the skin to be intact, prevent sagging and more cellulite.
