I never laughed this hard ever during a live stand up comedy session, seriously. Well It was a Saturday night, me and my gal pals had nothing to do. Then an invite for Wazzup Pilipinas, was an opportunity to be able to witness an English stand up comedy session with the sense of Filipno humor from the best stand up comedians in the country at HATCH22 Power Plant Mall , who are part of the #ComedyCarttelPH.
To be honest, English humor doesn’t really get to me quick but hell yeah how they delivered their spiels really got my attention. There was never a dull moment listening to them. My girls and I laughed so much because the jokes are really what we call, “Yeah we’ve been there kinda situation”, meaning that the spiels are relatable to the things that happens nowadays.
Mike Unson (@mikeunson) , have been in the stand up comedy biz for years and he is really passionate about it ever since. And he is celebrating his anniversary! He already made a name in stand up comedy and he is real
ly funny guys! He really cracked me up with his spiels on “#CANDY’SROADTOFITNESS” (My girls and I can’t really forget about it). I guess you guys better catch him up with one of his show for you to get what I’m saying. We got the chance to meet him personally, he was accommodating and very down to earth fella.
I asked some stuff about him, what It feels like to be in the industry that long, how is the competition nowadays, we know a lot of stand up comedians getting popular nowadays- really tough competiton out there. ( Making people laugh is a gift and talent, I say.) His source of inspiration and ritual she usually do before a show. His words of inspiration to those who plans to go with same path, he is in.

He had acts before him, You might know Ruther Urquia (@rutherurquia), Finalist from “Pilipinas Got Talent”. His antics about his shopping ventures with his wife really have a marked on me and his other spiels and jokes were funny, wished he performed longer because I find him very entertaining.
Then be amaze with magic tricks of Marcelle Fabie (@kelfabie) and his “hugots” on love. He demonstrated a magic trick which he sampled on a couple, they had to chain him up and amazingly he escapes the chains and get locked up again.
I swear, it is nice to go to shows like this with a group of friends and just laugh once in a while and have some fun. Get away from reality a bit. It was worth coming, My girls and I need some R &R from time to time with the pressure with that thing called “life”. This kind of comedy doesn’t like insult people and it genuine in delivery , its like story telling of certain based inspired characters which you eventually can relate to and you can imagine how funny it really is. When I hear Auntie Anne’s, I remember one my best friends, Aimee, she loves their pretzels and I guess it has been her fave snack/merienda ever since college. I agree , Yes, their pretzels are delish! I’ve been a fan of their almond pretzels – which I mostly buy at Auntie Anne’s and lately I tried their pretzel filled with cream cheese (can’t remember the exact name), it taste good when you dip it on caramel sauce. They have other sauces like chocolate, caramel, cream cheese and cheese but I go for the caramel, it goes good with everything.
Well we’ve seen Auntie Anne stalls around your one –stop local malls and they’ve established a name already for baking, selling good quality and mouth watering pretzels. When you say their name, automatically, PRETZELS come to your mind. They have been in the industry for a long time and now, they upgraded themselves with a new look and concept but still its still the same Auntie Anne we love.

I am thankful for the invitation of the launch of their newest branch. I am embracing their new look and since its an outdoor store they have seats and tables to seat near by- Finally , but I wish they have more, also their mall branches. I bet since its an office area, every break time office employees will be craving sweet and salty pretzels goodness and a cup of lemonade to go with since its also hot outside nowadays.

AXN Tops English GE Q1 2015 Ratings CSI:Cyber, The Blacklist and Asia’s Got Talent Take the Primetime Spotlight in SE Asia and Taiwan
PHILIPPINES (April 9, 2015) – AXN continued its thrilling streak in Q1 2015, claiming top spot in English general entertainment primetime ratings collectively in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Taiwan.
As the dominant English GE channel across the region, AXN held 37 percent of the primetime viewing share among 20 competing channels, with ratings that were more than 60 percent higher than the next best rated English GE channel.
Asia’s home of thrilling entertainment posted strong ratings gains on the back of the premieres of popular new and returning scripted series including “CSI: Cyber” and “The Blacklist” Season 2, along with AXN 
Asia’s latest original series “Asia’s Got Talent”. Quarter one primetime ratings grew in all four markets vs 2014. In particular, AXN enjoyed 50 per cent growth quarter-on-quarter in Singapore, 20 percent in the
Philippines, 15 percent in Taiwan, while in Malaysia the channel enjoyed more than double the rating of its closest competitor.
Hui Keng Ang, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sony Pictures Television Networks, Asia said, “Quality, buzzworthy drama and reality series airing day and date with the U.S remain integral to
AXN’s success. Adding to this is our focus on producing exciting localized original productions, and engaging viewers for a truly social television experience. ‘Asia’s Got Talent’, while a ratings success on linear TV, has also inspired an active and colorful fan base across several social platforms.”
After a strong launch in March, “Asia’s Got Talent” has continued to deliver top ratings in Southeast Asia and Taiwan a month into the series.
Billed as the biggest talent competition in the world, “Asia’s Got Talent” features some of the region’s most amazing performing artists competing for the coveted title. The first four episodes showcased many breathtaking performances and incredible characters, and at times hilarious and cringeworthy acts which kept viewers thoroughly entertained each week.
In its first four episodes, Asia’s Got Talent cumulatively delivered 5.7 million viewers across Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Taiwan. AXN dominated the Thursday night premiere timeslot with more than 16 times the rating of the next best English GE program.
“Asia’s Got Talent” will enter the semi-finals phase from April 16, with the sixth to eighth episodes featuring the best 24 acts selected by the judges from the first five episodes. The 24 performances will then be voted upon by the AXN audience via SMS, Facebook, and the “Asia’s Got Talent” mobile application, to determine the nine finalists. The show is proudly presented by Marina Bay Sands, Big Cola, Pantene, Caltex, Jetstar and GrabTaxi.
